Default Which heads for boosted engine?

Should one go with 72cc heads or 66cc heads or Ls6 heads. i was reading in another post that if you dont run atleast 14psi + 72cc is over kill. Is that true????

I plan on only being around 600rwhp maybe 700 in the far future.
Stock Ls1 for me.

For a turbo setup, I would recommend going with the 72cc heads to lower that compression as much as possible.

I too am interested in your opinions, I am going to run a stock block blower set up for now until I can afford to build a motor. I thought to just bolt on some 6.0 heads while I was in there changing the cam. Since you can get used one's cheap. This would effectively lower CR and should extend motor life, maybe even warrent 10-12psi. Ok 10psi max, do you think it would be a waste of time to bolt on unported stock 6.0 heads, a guy could always give them a quick hand polish. I know, no digrinder dammit. What do you guys think? Not trying to hijack there bud, just thought this could help a little. If it means anything from my research so far I would definely go 72cc if I were you. Thanks guys!

With your future APS twin turbo, I'd go with the 72cc heads. Bob

Stock Ls1 for me.
That's what I have been told by a guy that has installed hundreds of F/I. He also has a LS7 Z06 running 10.5:1 compression and was making nearly 900 RWHP before he tuned it down to 800 RWHP.
I put some 317 heads on my maggie motor, and lost power. I'm going back with something with some compression. If I was going to run a turbo with lots of boost, then I would go with the larger chamber on a small inch motor.
