5.3 S/C Question

My friend has a 5.3 in a 2004 GMC Sierra 1500 and he is interested in supercharging it but is worried about how much boost and power the drivetrain will sustain. Anyone have some numbers, pics, advics, or vids?

I would say 8psi. How much can it handle? That depends on alot of things.

It's pretty much stock with shorty headers, CAI, and he wants to make low-end torque and a bit of power. I told him he should look into the Vortech kit.
