Pistons.......Search times out
Pistons.......Search times out I'm sure this topic has been visited many many times. I cannot get the search to work, it times out every time.
I have a Vortech YSi, I am looking into my options as far as pistons go. At the moment, I have Ross blower pistons which give me a 9.0:1 ratio with the 66 ish cc's of the 241 heads. I may have killed these pistons so I am looking for something else. I wouldn't mind doing the Ross's again, they are pricey, around $875. Diamond has a nice piston, part number 11574. Those look like they would get the cr down to about 8.5:1. They are for a 3.905 bore, which I have but are listed for a 4 inch stroke, which I don't have. 3.70, offset crank. What would be the downside, if any of using these with my shorter stroke?
The big question would be, has anyone run these, are they any good? Are there better options? The Ross pistons are nice pieces, I hate to move away from them.
