Drove a MONSTER Blown LT4 this weekend My friend just picked up his blown 396 LT4 ATI D1 supercharged TA this weekend.
The car needs more fuel above 4500 rpm but dynoed 654RWHP@4400rpm before going lean!! this was THROUGH CATS!
The current fuel setup is a sumped tank with Aeromotives second biggest pump and 50# injectors, 10an feed line with stock size return...It isnt enough!
He has 85# injectors, long tube headers with 3 inch Y, and a MASSIVE Aeromotive pump (12an line) and a Imp converter box to go on the car this weekend.
I drove the car with him (keeping it under 4500rpm) and it was one of the most violent cars I have ever driven. It broke the tires loose on a 3rd gear punch at around 3600rpm!
This car was raced once with current setup (Granny shifting it at 4800rpm and went 138mph in the 1/4!!!
Anyways look for an 850RWHP LT4 ATI powered TA soon. Sorry if I am rambling but it was such a violent car I am still amazed hahah!!

That sounds like one helluva ride! About how much boost is he putting into the LT4?

Re: Drove a MONSTER Blown LT4 this weekend He'll be running about 23#'s boost when done. He has about 10#'s at 4000rpm now. I think he is going to keep it aroudn 17#'s with the new setup and then see how it works. No webpage yet though probably soon!

Re: Drove a MONSTER Blown LT4 this weekend 50# injectors should hold up until 700rw or so on an fi application.. i would check to make sure the fuel pressure and regulator are functioning correctly. after that i would say that you just have to add the fuel into the tune.. but for a build that rediculous you might as well go low impedance. have fun
