whats the progress or updates on your project?
Boosting issue was solved, was an series of exhaust leaks that limited boost to 9psi.
Fixed that, car made 14-15-17 psi no problem. Destroyed my stg 4 4l60e with that new found boost and power.
So the drivetrain was just upgraded:
Moser 9, 35 spline axles, spool, nodular 3rd member, 1/2 studs, 3.50 gears, 4ch ABS retained, BMR LCA Brackets, TCI flexplate, spohn M6-TH400 crossmember spacer, Hurst quarter stick shifter.
Gary Gonzales built TH400, RMVB, Transbrake, built to take some abuse
Gary Gonzales built TH400 Turbo Torque Converter, 3200 stall, tight, billet front cover.
PST 3.5 inch 1200HP aluminum driveshaft.
Gary is the local go to guy for all the big racers out here, builds one hell of a converter and one hell of a tranny and is a nice guy to boot. Really helped me out and gave me a great deal on what I needed.
HUGE thanks to Bob@EPP for the Moser 9 and the rest of the stuff I ordered from him, it all showed up FAST.
Next up is a Synergy 2 step, spohn drag sway bar, shocks and springs and thats it, well other than taking weight out.

That list makes me horny.
My latest plans:
Tear motor down to diagnose why its locked, if new pistons needed:
bumping up to a 370 @ 8.9:1 (old was 364 @ 8.5:1)
Bigger breathers on both valve covers
switching to my ST80 w/ 1.1ex housing
Alkycontrol kit (dual)
removable steering wheel (damn 10pt cage in my DD)

I've been playing the "bolt-On" game but growing tired. Trying to square away the suspension so when I start adding power the car is ready to handle it.
Items left before I can move on to boost.
-Kmember
-Front LCA
-Manual rack
-Drag brakes
-AFCO shocks and springs for the front.
Manifolds are already here

Well I pushed the stock drivetrain a far as I should have with the procharger set up. And that POS rock on tranny, was definately NOT up to the task of taking on the turbo
Shoulda done all this stuff first...LOL I built the top floor, way before the foundation was ever laid down:/
98turbLS1, Just think you'd have a 14 second car up here

NA$TY-TA must have a financial backer of some sort to get all this work done to his car
....or must know how to tickle em really good

What can i say im a likable guy LOL

I guess ive just been in the right place at the right time.....
Doing alot of the labor myself this time guys and i have a cool group of guys that are helping me out.
Couldnt of got that far without Stenod thats for sure....
My buddy Schawn posts on here and he is who is helping me.
He is one hell of an engine builder and know's a lil about going fast

Here's his project i have been proud to help a Lil on.....

Kyle
Pulling the headers off tonight to wrap them up, probably buy some new plugs and I guess I need some GTO spark plug wires? I need the end of the plug-side boot to sit at about 135* from the wire. 90* right angle boots almost all worked, but 2-3 primaries would have been really tight on the boot.
might put the roadrunner PCM in too if we get it all finished tonight
boost for the first time possibly, but I'm sure there will be a hangup somewhere.
Turbo kit is done
Rear suspension needs a few more things
mount the fuel cells, water tank, make a front bumper support and some other small things then I can blow it all apart, repaint the engine bay then start final assembly
Lots of progress pics on my sig.
