At that level of power, wouldnt a Cog setup be better in the end? Or is it just too much a PITA for LS1 fbodies?

Cog drive would be best. Even a 12 rib would be a step up. I have talked to a lot of people at Procharger and have been told that there will be no improvement over the 8 rib setup in the forseeable future. There is no market for it.

That's why I am rethinking and may go turbo.

I think its all on goals, there are some people on this forrum with goals I couldn't even dream about. I am going 408 with a d-1, well to begin with anyways. This will be pretty much a street car and I think I will be content with the power. I absolutly do not wanna go turbo for the street. So if a future upgrade is needed, then F1 it is. I have searched and talked to a couple guys on here with this combo and they are making great power while barely even running the d-1, 8-10psi. With the right set up, h/c, etc. You can make you results alot more efficient. Its all what yor after though so I can't reccommend anything, but it sounds like a f-1 is in store for you young grasshopper if the track will be its home. I have no clue on this one, may be some help here guys, but how would the f-1 be on the street with a 408? I guess it shouldn't be too bad would it?
