Sent an email yesterday to forced indutions with questions about turbo choices very similar to the thread starter's setup.

Will the S88 and S91 be more of track only type of turbo? What RPM could you see full spool typically with those turbo's and the thread starters combo?

That sounds more like it...

Thats true but the advantage the ford guys have is 15+ years or R&D to get them down the track. 450+ CMF heads help too.

How high do you plan to turn the motor?

All these engines are just dumb air pumps anyway..I dont buy into the big flowing heads in a turbo application.. Brad Brand ran 7.15 @ 200+ with his single 106 360-380 ci with old TFS high ports, and then built a new engine that was 420 ci with big bad Neal heads etc...Guess what, it ran almost the same if not worse..Brad is a very sharp guy and knows his stuff so i am sure there was nothing left on the table.

It's just a bit more complicated than that...lol
Ultimately the turbo is the restriction in the application, It can only move so much air, but what big heads can and will do is give you much greater area under the curve.

What ECU are you going to use?
