MAF problem!!! hey
ever since i put in my superchrger i have been getting a MAF code. this is a 2004 ss silverado truck. i duno what would cause this...is there any way to fix it? has anyone had this problem?

code number, when it happens,and uhh, a data log is probably out of the question, huh?
What side is the maf on? Has it been tuned? By who?
But yeah, its a common problem if you havent been tuned for it.
BTW, try posting this in tuning and also in the FI section.....

hummm well my truck is getting tuned outta town in toronto because where i live there are no places where it can be tuned. The guy tuneing it told me it was comeing up. Everytime you floor it and let off the gas it comes on. The maf is before the charger and is being tuned by red line preformance in toronto. For the record edcmat this is my first build up im learning as i go along so no need for the names. Thank you
Well no offence but there's more than one way to set a code and figure out which ones you're getting before asking for help. Otherwise it's a waste of time. Get access to a code reader, autozone reads them for free.

Yea find out about the MAF code then post what it is. Lightnings/Cobras have a similar problem when you start boosting them higher than stock, you'll hear them describe it as "pegging the MAF."
