Default Can I get away with an internal WG?

Hey guys,
Building a stock 6.0l LQ4 (unopened) with the exception of a Z06 cam and some springs. I am planning a single turbo, probably a t76. HP goals are somewhere around 550ish rwhp. Can I get away with an internal wastegate? I can get puck/flanges that are 1.375. Not too sure that will get the job done but I would love the simplicity of the interal set up. Has anyone actaully run this comb?

Thanks!!

Bite the bullet and do it right Jeff. External WG

Larger injectors as well should be on the list. 60lb ones should work fine.

While you are in there doing the cam swap install a new LS2 Tchain and ported LS6 oil pump.

Don't like externals Mark. Simple is good. Now..... go and get your car running again.

Anyone running an internal on a 6.0?

Thanks again,

I don't see why you couldn't, there are a lot of diesel's with internal gate and they push 20+ psi of boost though them.

Thanks for the response. Actually 20psi isn't my concern, it's about being able to run 7-10 without creep. If I was shooting for 20psi I would probably be a whole lot less concerned about it......if I am thinking about this whole thing correctly.
Thanks again,

dont really see high amount of boost being a problem... unless the gate cant hold it... keeping boost down/boost creep would seem to be more an issue i would think. Does that even make sence? its late lol

Dragframe, makes perfect sense.

No one is running a single frontmount turbo with an interal wastegate? Maybe the lack of response is my answer
