should i coat the pistons or not?
ive got an ls1 thats going to have a t76 on it. i have diamond 8.6cc dish pistons. aiming for 700rwhp
do I need to coat the pistons? its fairly expensive and I can use the money elsewhere but if i need to do it i will

What Pistons?
Mahle are side coated, if you order them coated from the manufacturer it's only more for 20-30ea, an extra 200-300 isn't bad for the insure not to mention 200-300 when your are spending several thousand won't make much of a difference.
