PCV Hardware and Routing for Supercharged C5 - Will This Setup Be Effective?
I don't want any oil in the intake manifold / entering the combustion chamber and I don't want to positively pressurize the crank case.
I do want to pull a little vacuum on the crank case at all times.
On my previous set up, I did not run any catch cans or any vacuum to the crank case. I did not have the PCV valve routed to the intake manifold - that inlet was blocked off. I just used a Crank Vent Breather on top of the engine oil filler. I ran it that way for three years with no issues and full timing. I just had a new engine built (bigger) and I am going with a bigger SC, so I thought about trying something else.
