Charged and Stroked
I posted a thread in the corvette section concerning questions on my next build. Here's the link.. https://ls1tech.com/forums/corvette-performance/778027-what-combo-would-you-go.html
I'm wanting to build a procharged 408, here's a couple additional questions I have:
-Would it be safe to use the stock block, pistons?
-I'm trying to decide between the d1sc and the p1scII, and how much psi to run
If you all could reply in the other thread I'd greatly appreciate it; thanks guys.

i say build a 402 that makes conservative 550 fwhp...
that would be a good driver and good on the road coarse.... then put a small wet kit on it for the street races and the drag strip....
all these FI kits take up alot of engine space make excess heat and usually require more maintanance than the regular guy wants to F#$% with....
i miss my days of making 400rwhp with just cam swap and having a small wet shot on tap for fun..... beat on that bitch all day and never look under the hood....
lets say this... more power=more problems...

those setups are the funest any ways...

I need to mention that this setup will be going into a c5z. Thanks for the advice ty, I'm pretty dead set on a procharged setup tho... Bolt-ons, a blower cam, and internals would be the first thing to do on my list, followed by the s/c. I've seen a lot of the procharged applications on here put down outstanding numbers across the board and remain excellent streetable cars. Like you said however, a few guys experience overheating issues.. I'm only toying with the idea of bumping the cubes up a little to a 383 or 408 right now, and trying to get different opinions on the setup. Thanks for the reply!
