Smile or perma grin! I have never driven anything with this much power!! If you can imagine full boost comming in at the 1/8th and the steering wheel all of the sudden feeling detached because the front end was lifting off of the ground at 145mph. The chassis and calibration is reacting completely different to this powertrain combo so it will take a bit of tweaking to get things right.

I'll let tom fill in the details...

But only made two full passes and the times were the following

8.51 @ 181.7 1.49 60' 141 to the eigth if remember right..

last pass of the day after we waited an hour for an oil down...

8.11 @ 183.7 1.54 60' 145 to the eight started moving around a bit so tom lifted 'slightly'

This New LSX block is bad ***!! Managed to Push absolutely no water. When We were running this fast last year... it would push about 10-16oz or so.

It's a little tough to come up on boost, but were already getting that better with the tune each pass.

Harlan or Tom will post up some vids as soon as there back with the truck and trailer.

Fun day... Fun day!!
The intake and exhaust rocker arms are different due the the extreme beating the exhaust rockers take so the bolt's that Jesel supplied had a large head which caused the socket to fit very tightly to the body of the rocker arm. I think this gave an in-accurate torque reading the first time we torqued the exhaust rocker arms. We had to re-torqure the exhaust rockers and adjust the lash again. Typical new combo blues but once done all was good. Jesel is sending me some bolts with smaller heads to remedy the problem.

I can't wait to get this monster back out on the track!!

Copper gaskets with o-rings and reciever grooves. 1/2" ARP head studs that were custom spec'd.
