918s hold moderate boost levels?

Default 918s hold moderate boost levels?

would 918s hold the amount of power i want to make? this will be a 408 around 9.1 cr with cleaned up 317s and probably a LS2 intake. im looking to make around 9xx rwhp on pump gas. cam isnt decided yet, nor is rpm range.

would 918s be good for boost or should i go with a dual spring that has better seat pressure?

Don't waste your time with the 918's. They will not support even moderate boost. Get some good duals. Patriot has some good springs.

dual spring. 918s will only really be good for a car boosting the stock motor so to speak, low boost. Im running them but im on the stock motor and 5.5 psi, working great but with a 408 and big power, def a dual spring.

My 918's have worked fine on a STOCK displacement 5.7 with STOCK size valves and a STOCK cam at 10#'s of boost up to 6800rpm. Several others have had issues if the boost is increased or if you replace the word STOCK in any of those other areas. My guess is more valvespring pressure will be required.

patriot gold duals extreme i believe is their heavier duty set. Check into those for your 408

Use whatever Speed Inc. reccomends on that motor. And 918's won't work on that combo, I would not even run 918's na with a stroker.
