deck thickness on heads

deck thickness on heads where do you guys measure deck thickness at on cylinder heads? My darts are pushing water and i m thinking of an alterntive head instead of just oringing them. it looks as though you would measure in the water jacket area at "bottom" of the head

What gaskets are you using and how much boost? Head studs? torque?
I am getting ready to use a set of dart 225's on my setup, so any info is appreciated.

Its pretty easy to see, any of the water holes you can see how thick the head is. The Darts are about the same as stock in the areas you can see. If you look at a set of All Pros, ETPs or AFRs you dont need to measure them to see the difference.
Dart claims the better material makes up for the lack of thickness and that may be true. Its also possible the AFRs and others may have a better/port chamber design and can take more timing before detonation starts but thats just supposition.
