Is having to take fuel out at WOT normal?
Is having to take fuel out at WOT normal? In order to get my A/F around 11.5 at WOT using the injector flow table my Ltrims at idle are maxing at 25 ( adding fuel ). If we lower the flow table number to get the Ltrim closer to 0, it is way to rich at full throttle. Is it normal to have to use the P.E table to take fuel out, or am I missing something? I had assumed I would have to add fuel as the rpm increased. Setup: procharger, 50 lbs injectors, Ls1edit. no boost referenced regulator.
Re: Is having to take fuel out at WOT normal? On my car, they lowered PE at higher RPM ranges to dial it in. As long as you are on a wideband and the A/F ir correct, you have nothing to worry about.

Re: Is having to take fuel out at WOT normal? Boost, no answers here - just to say that I have that same Ltrim issue. By multiplying the flow table by .85, I don't get the SES light as much. I'll be watching this post to see if any experts chime in. My car runs great A/F, so I'm not all that worried about Ltrims. I am curious though...

Re: Is having to take fuel out at WOT normal? I havn't tripped any codes yet and we are using a wide band to monitor everything. I just thought it was wierd that I'd have to take fuel out instead of adding it. Just wanted to make sure this was normal. Ls1bird, what A/f did you get those dyno numbers at?
