higher boost plugs and bp7efs crosses to...

If your a/f is close to 13:1-14:1 at idle you wont foul the 8s, I even run 9s sometimes and have never fouled a plug.
This is their reply.
If the heads require the tapered seat plug (as they do in the US) I
would suggest the TR7IX or the one heat range cooler TR8IX, to be sure
you have the proper chamber projection and seal.
Otherwise I would have you try the BKR7EIX (same heat range as you have
now) or the colder BKR8EIX. These iridium plugs should help increase
performance slightly due to the tapered cut ground electrode. Hope this
helps, thank you.

Ive been using NGK Double platinums for about 2 years now, with no problems. I have melted some recently, but thats down to tuning, not the plugs. But it also has me wondering would a cooler plug, be worth a shot.
These are the PFR7B, less the electrode lol. OOPS !!!!

Im guessing any heat range change wont make a difference to this happening ? lol. Surprisingly, the car still ran fine like this....well, aside from the lost compression due to ring damage.

I normally use the NGK's,but the Autolite's are a normal stocking item for Advanced Auto.
