good to see someone else that stuck a nice fat N/A cam in their turbo car. I have the same one in mine. Our cars are equal weight and MPH, wish i had a stall converter, but my extra cubes and your intercooler equal out pretty good. That cam is the main reason for the high MPH too, when you shifting that thing? Im going to 6300, stock longblock with cam only and 11psi.

When I made some runs logging it I think it did shift around 6200.
The shortblock is stock, and just has bowl ported 6.0L heads on it.

I'm building a very very similar car. It's a 70 2 door with 347, an S480 turbo and a TH400 with a brake. I'd really like to see some close ups of your headers, downpipe and cross over pipe. My car is going to be a little more race oriented, but will still be tagged and insured and will see some street use as well. I really like your set up. I was pretty annoyed when I couldn't get 6.0 truck manifolds or even F body manifolds to fit. The steering box and the upper control arms are right in the way so I'll have to build some headers.

You should look in the classifieds as well as the conversion sectio nthere is a guy selling a nice turbo hotside kit that might work for you and its priced VERY nice .

I'm assuming you mean the stuff that 350SS is selling. I did a little resarch and that kit won't fit too well for me. No hood clearence. I'll just build the headers like I had origionally intended. I already have all the pipes, the collectors and the flanges. Just need some time to fab it all up.

Plans were awhile back to make a full race car, but i decided to keep it a street car, It looks deceptive but the entire chassis has been done also.
Check out the pics in the link in my signature for close ups. Theres also a link off of the cardomain page to more pics.

I took it back yesterday. 1st pass I sprayed it the whole way down. 50 shot. 60ft was like a 1.51 and kinda sounded weird. went 10.66 @ 125. ??? I was confused...slower than my passes last time without spray.
So I made a pass not spraying and went 1.7 60ft and 11.30 @ 117 same weird noise faintly. So I took it back and searched it over and found a 5" crack down my intake elbow. So the 50 shot was almost compensating for the boost leak. Im sure it would have broke into the 9s, but oh well **** happens. At least I can say I blew the welds on my intake. lol.
