Default Time to go FI...got some questions...

Okay here is what I am thinking about going with:

ATI D1-R kit starting at 8psi

Stock block (for now)

P&P 6.0 heads to lower comp. ratio

I am needing advice on a good cam...maybe like a 220/220 .560 .565 114lsa??? I really have no idea on blower cams.

Soo guys let me know what you think!

Get the ATI D-1SC tuner kit...should have the 3.60" blower pulley..

Get 42.5LB injectors..

I would go with TEA's 6.0L 73cc chamber head, with a stock block that will put you a little under 9.5:1 compression I believe....you won't see 8psi with the kit, especially if you have headers...

I have a 214/218 .540/.550 114lsa cam that I'm going to use in my 372 bore motor...I used that w/my stock block as well..

I had LT headers as well...

I saw a total of 4psi...

Wow, only 4psi? Soo what if I went with a smaller pulley in order to get 8-10psi??

I also meant the D1-SC, I dont know why I said D1-R, not maying attention to what I type I guess.

Anyways, thanks for the info...

Can I get some more opinions on cam size? I am thinking I dont want to spin the motor over about 6500rpm's, I am not looking to make insane peak hp #'s, I would actually like to build a nice torqe curve instead, afterall this is a street car and not a race car

for a supercharger cam, most people agree you want the exhaust duration greater then the intake duration. move the numbers up or down to you emission and drivability requirements.. most lsa's are between 114-116, this is depentant on what you want to rev to though.

a good middle cam would be like 220/224-115

Cool...I like the sound of that cam.

I will be talking to my builder tomorrow about the whole setup.
