You can get into a turbo kit with what you have to spend and some extras. Check out the single front mount my site.

It's not even a comparison IMNSHO... Using wasted exhaust energy to build positive pressure has to be the greatest invention ever!

I think anyone will agree how life changing there first "turbo" experience was...I remember it like it was the other day. 13 years old...Neighbors dad had just got a 1st gen TSI Talon. Went for a ride and it was sweet...Two weeks later he took me for another ride.. After exhaust, BOV and a MBC.. I was hooked. That was before my first turbo V8 experience. It's like crack now. I hear a blow off valve and it just does something in my head! I think I will always own something with a turbo! Working on my boosted 1970 Cougar and of course boosted lifted K5 5.3 LS1...mmm.

TURBO FTMFW!!!

The ATI ProCharger D-1SC is a very well proven design that can power you down into the low nine second range, if you have the supporting mods. Bob

IMO either one of them are great, it all depends on what your goals are? What kind of emissions laws do you have to worry about? Also, each have their pros and cons so along with all the questions you'll need to ask yourself, don't forget to ask yourself which pros/cons are you willing to accept. I personally have a Procharger that will be installed onto my T/A and my main reason for going with a Procharger setup was because I have to worry about emissions. For me a lot of the Turbo kits with the exception of APS and Gen TT, don't have Air/Egr Tubes. My car is and always will be a daily driver so I need something I'm not gonna be sweatin' bullets about come emissions time. I would someday like to do a DD Turbo project but I recently got a sweet *** deal on a Procharger setup. I'm not saying that you should go with one kit versus another but, the point I'm trying to make is that you've gotta do your research and this forum is best place to do so. Best of luck with your choosing which kit to use for your application. Don't be afraid to pm or call any of the sponsors to ask them questions, they all have a wealth of knowledge in regards to these applications. I know I bugged the hell out of Bob and he gladly answered all my questions, if he didn't know the answer to it he'd direct me to the right person. Lastly, keep in mind that your success if their success, your failure is their failure especially if your purchased you FI applicated directly from them. Nobody wants to sell a shitty product that's not gonna get them any good business...

Default imo

everyone is going to tell you different things according to their expierences, you have to list your goals as stated, this is prolly one of the most vague questions on the internet.

This has pretty much already been said but I wouldn't buy either one till you read about forced induction and talk to everyone that has knowledge about forced induction for about six months or more.Learn all you can on your own.Better to change your mind many times while you gain knowledge and before you spend your money.Turbos and superchargers are both great, get all the info you can and then decide which is better for you!

In regards to Superchargers, Prochargers are the only one I would advise you to do research on imo because they're the best for our cars Supercharger wise (no disrespect to other kits)...

For a dd, i would go with the procharger. It is more of a personal preference and you cant go wrong with either

No doubt, both are very expensive. You will spend alot of money on either but super chargeing is slightly less expensive .Either one can make huge power although the power delivery is different.I dont think you can say one or the other is better, its which one you like or which is better for you.Personally I like the power delivery of turbos, but the next guy may like superchargers best.
