how difficult was the ls1 install? That looks like a cool looking racecar, should be sweet when done!

The black valve covers and intake make it look trick. its the details that set the car off nice!

man i wish i had funds for another project..

I just scored a big one, i just picked up 37 feet of kevlar braided -10an line off ebay for $100. This stuff is from a nascar team and brand new. From summit its $42.39 a foot. So that would be $1568.43 for this line and i paid $100 shipped to my door. Looks like im going to use it for my fuel line, turbo drain, trans cooler lines, and everything else since i have 37' of it. Its super light, like under 1 lb for all 37ft. Heres a link to it on summit.

Sounds like a strong combo. I switched over to a PTC converter, I have not pushed it enough to see how it fully works at the track but so far it's decent. That's a helluva deal on the GT47-88, heck if you can find me one that cheap I'll run two in 2008.

I think 15psi on E85 no meth is no problem, maybe even 20 psi. I went 20 psi with 112 and 24 degrees of timing.

god damn that thing is a monster. now what are you doing with the t88?

You shouldn't have any problems hitting your power goals with that turbo and an iron 408.

Looks bad ***, Chris

Only problem now is getting it in there and then coming up with a bracket to support the 70lb beast. 6" inlet, 4" outlet. Its freaking crazy looking in person

Looks big externally, but probably a small turbo wheel wise. Will probably spool slow and choke bad on a 408.

My God, that turbo might even be big enough to overcome a DEI motor!

You've got nothing to say but bad things about the turbos he chooses. How about maybe recommending one to him then if the ones he's picking are no good?

Did you not recomend to me a gt47-88??? In pm you told me that, it will work perfect for me. Well thats exactly what i bought, so how come now its not right either??? The main reason i went with the gt47-88 was because of you so now its wrong? . Im still in school and im not going to buy a third different turbo because you have bashed my first two. Tim

I edited my post since i came across very rude and i shouldnt have, but i am just really curious as to why the gt47-88 wont work for me when 100's have used it in the past? The only thing that has changed is that i am going to be running a 408 now and not a 347. I was thinking that it would be stronger and it would help spool it slightly faster. If my logic is totally off by all means correct me, but i have seen so many people run the gt47-88 and make great power. I dont even want an all out race car, my car is a street car and show car. So you dont think that i will make 700rwhp with the gt47-88 and 408??? Cause thats what i am looking for and you told me that with the 76mm and my 347 on e85 it wouldnt even make 600rwhp??

Judging by DrTurbo's ideas on how a wastegate operates, I would take anything he says with the knowledge that it's about as full of **** as Hillary Clinton.
