Bob,

I was looking at some of the customer cars on your sight and I wondered how much more power potential the white TA w/402 would have with an F1A vs. the D1 it has know. The D1 is maxed at around 15 psi on this combo right?

The d1sc was maxxed around 16-17psi on this car. Keep in mind this is a iron 408 , low compression , big heads, and also a big stick as well.

We also had to make a overdrive crank pulley to spin this thing as hard as we did so it was beyond maxxed out.

A f1a would make the same and or more power at the same boost level, and it would make far less heat doing it.

For a build like this, the f1 would be perfect.

No, he couldn't drive it with the six speed transmission that was in it, and neither could anyone else. I tried at the track and I missed second gear every time. The tranny had a Viper shaft in it, so we know that someone had been in it, but it wouldn't shift worth a crap under load. I had advised him the car would be much quicker with an automatic, but the last I saw he had it for sale on Ebay advertised as a nine second car... Those lambo doors were rather cumbersome to say the least. Bob
