Procharger Help.....
Procharger Help..... Ok I finally have my fuel system worked out!!
Now Im wondering about springs, push rods and cam. Im going to be on the stock short block for as long as I can, so I want it AS SAFE AS POSSIBLE!!!
First of all do I need valve springs? if so what are some good one you guys would reccomend? What about pushrods? needed? or recommended? and lastly what about a cam? I have decided long ago if I go with a cam its gonna be a stealth cam or VERY mild cam such as a GT2-3. What do you guys think?
Also any other things you guys think Im leaving out or should pick up to go along with the install?

To be as totally safe as possible, I would swap the stock valvesprings for the Patriot valvesprings with their titianium retainers, shown here.

I would also replace the factory pushrods with aftermarket pushrods, as the factory pushrods are weak.

You certainly do not need to swap your camshaft, but if you want an easy 30 rwhp increase (provided you have headers and exhaust) the Lingenfelter GT2-3 camshaft is a great way to go. You won't get this kind of an increase with using the factory exhaust manifolds and exhaust.
We used the GT2-3 camshaft on this 740 rwhp LS1.
