Car is running.....
I talked to Larry & Tom when I called back and they said that the rings have been seated, and the motor runs really smooth, they had to make a few adjustments with the HAL's because of the weight of the iron block, but it sounds like its ok....I was told that the car sounds like a Jet going down the street with the ATI race ready BOV...
Tuning should take place either today or tomorrow, possibly have the car back friday, if not, then monday..
I can't wait....
What kind of hp are you expecting? Im predicting 590rwhp if the engine sees 12lbs of boost. Heres my calculations...
375rwhp n/a * [12lbs/14.7lbs * 70% supercharger efficiency + 1] = 590rwhp
I use a conservative n/a power since your runnin through a unlocked converter and the engine is designed for boost. Does this sounds about right? What exhaust are you running?
I cant wait to see the results because I was thinking of building similar setup but am unemployed and broke as a joke. Good luck with your car. Hopefully you will get it back by Friday.
Thats if I hit 12psi...I'm sure the motor will also get stronger with miles, so the inital break in # might not be as high...
Its also going to be through the TH400 w/ a 3500 unlocked converter, 12-bolt, and on 27x11.5x15 Hoosiers...

I have FLP longtubes with, ORP's, through either the cutout or SLP dual-dual...probably going to be dynoed with the cutout open...
Did you get your car tuned yet? I forgot to take into account the intercooler when calculating hp. How much do you think its worth? 50-75hp? It should get you over 600hp.
