Set it up and let the BS3 keep the tune in line in Real Time.

what does this mean and do?

I think the ams1000 is a little overkill for my setup. Are there any other controllers that ramp easy

what about the fast computer setup? I can get a deal on fast stuff.

What is the price on the FAST XFI & XIM Ignition?

The BS3 and FAST setups allow you to put in a tune. Get it tunned on the dyno to get everything in line. Then go to the track and run. It will make the changes to the VE tables atoumaticly to keep everything at your set A/F ratio.

BS3 can be bought for $2000 or so here on the forums in the FS section.
FAST XFI & XIM I am a distributor for (COMP Products). It will run you closer to $3400 when it is said and done. (My next car will be BS3)

The AMS1000 is overkill. The cheaper ones on the market do the job. Search around they al have differnt features and prices.

Is there any reason someone couldn't get your kit josh, and run 7-8 psi or so on a 98 with stock ecu?

Thanks, Chris
Alot of guys have bought my setup and kept the 98PCM and run only 8lbs and up to 14lbs. 14lbs will give you more power than you need on the street. No worries there.

bs3 Is the choice I guess. So if I run on c16 does the bs3 sensor go out alot? Or do you turn it on to tune then save the settings. I dont want to put o2 sensors in it every week. I sent you a pm back.

The BS3 O2 is high ocatne compatible. No changing it every week. The O2 correction can be used during tunning. I still prefer the old Dyno Pull while logging and then make changes to do the majority of the tunning.

What's happen'n Alex? Give ma a shout sometime.

Just add the c16 turn up the boost and that is all you'll have to do. The BS3 will adjust to the boost levels. Just make sure you have the right octane for the boost setting you are running. I use 93 for the 8psi setting and C16 for everything else up to 24psi. The 8 is good for a little over 600 rwhp which is fine for the street. I use an innovative multi stage boost controller which is the same one exile turbo sells.

speedinc sells a harness that will let you use the stock guages.

you won't find it cheaper than list anywhere, BS# has incredibly strict dealer rules.

the AEM 1220 computer will work with the stock gauges

Had the same issue with the gauges. For the price of the adapter I just got all Autometer gauges and didn't need to worry about the stock computer at all. The autometers are better looking IMO and more accurate too.

The Speed Inc adapter is for 99-02 F-bodies. It won't work on the 98's.

No, I have the BS3 wired in as a stand alone. There is no stock computer anymore.

from searching I think i can use the stock gauges. The hard on to use is the tach because you cant share the crank signal. I will just buy a big *** tach.
