Default Stockportedepoxyed or NW TB for TT setup

Hey guys,I actually searched all 10 pgs before asking. LOL!! But,I was wondering!Am I better off getting one of those stock epoxyed portedTBs or going with a Nicky williams or comparable TB for my Incon TT set up?Ive got a forged LQ9 6.0 with ported ls6 heads and intake! My buddys running a 408 TT setup and he's using a 90 BBK and i dont know if he's missing an adapter plate or somthing ,But when you open the TB plate its like a step inside, and you can actually see part of the o ring on the intake. And even though its FI, I personally think that would hurt performance rather then increase it! Im not exactly sure what the mm opening is on a stock ls6 intake, but Ide think you wouldnt want to go bigger then what the opening is especially on a FI set up And im not sold soly to a NW TB either!Holly actually has a nice unit too !OR should i just pick up a done up stock TB and call it a dayLOL THANKS guys,And as always any and all feed back is greatly appreciated ED BARNAT

Doing anything to the TB on an ls6 intake will probably not be a sound $/HP investment with FI. However, if you switch to a 90MM intake, the NW TB's are excellent. Just stay away from the FAST 90mm TB's, as they have never fixed their QC problems.

I think it depends on the size of the charge pipe. Since most are 3" (75mm), I'm not sure if a 90mm TB is much of a benefit with forced induction.
