Default I think this should work...... Right?

First install a wastegate on the SC... Then run the pulley (boost level) u want on race fuel. Then lower the boost with a boost controller for pump gas.... So if u went to the track u can just switch back to the real boost level u had before with a push of a button and u can run race gas without having to swap the SC pulley.

I think it could work, but u will have to put a smaller pulley on the SC if u want more boost. So basically u can lower boost, but u can’t raise it unless u have a smaller pulley on the SC.

Do u guys think this could work? and if no explain why?

don't have too much exp. with superchargers but I do know a waste gate is for the exhaust side, on the intake side of things you use things like blow off valves, which I do not think are made to actual control a constant boost level. So I would not think a blow-off valve is a good way to control boost. The best way to control your boost is to control the rpm's of the compressor, which in the case of a ATI/Vortec supercharger would mean changing the pulley.

No, I dont think this would work. Ive heard it thrown around here and their but dont think its possible. I think the best way to control boost on a s/c is the pulleu change. The waste gate ideal works well on a turbo car but not on a supercharged one.

Why not? How about if we use the wastegate to leak boost before it goes into the engine? That should work i guess.
