Default LS1, LS2, or LS6???

I haven't bought my engine yet, and I would like to get either a LS2 or LS6, because of the hp. Which one is better for forced induction? Is the LS2 really 50 hp more than the LS1?

if your going forced induction make sure you get forged pistons and rods, with equal parts in all use the ls2,no replacement for displacement,i would also consider an iron block 6.0-a little cheaper, the iron block is a little more durable too

I'm still kicking around the idea of putting together a new engine and am leaning toward the LS2 block because of the 4.00x" bore versus the 3.90x in the LS1/LS6. It'll gain you roughly 17 cubes as well.

The LS2 has much better long term prospects.

An LS1/6 block goes to 3.905....and thats it done. At least an LS2 block can be bored a few times if need be.
