no it didnt have the 1-1 ratio like the vettes and it still made 10.5.i did have the larger crank pulley though also.if it had 1-1 on the rear it would have made even more boost.do you know where to get a 2.6 pulley

I've seen them on ebay from pulley boys. I have the 1:1 ration pulleys. I believe the 2.9 would get me close to 10lbs. The 3.4 gave me 5lbs and with the 3.2, I see 7lbs.

I believe I would have to grind on the supercharger some to make it fit. Seems like belt slip might become an issue too. Those prices are a little more expensive than pulley boys. I'm not currently running meth and I bet the IAT's would be crazy high. If the maggie kept making boost, that would be about 13psi.

All this stuff I want to do and no money to do it. I just remodeled my house and have to take get all of the bills from that taken care of before I start spending again. I really need to get a shortblock before I destroy this one. I've still been thinking about upping the boost some anyway. I just don't want anything to happen to my heads if something blows. What kit do you have? I haven't done any research on meth so don't know much about it. Just know that it helps cool things off and reduce detonation.

It's got 122,000 miles with some light nitrous use already. It's using some oil now. I can see it come out the tailpipes. I'm not sure if it's the rings, valve seals, or just the fact I don't have a catch can and I'm still using a PCV system. I just keep adding oil and it just keeps making power???

The 2.9 will give you 9-10 psi, that's the same thing that Badmonkey''s running. Also, sent you a PM

You can run whatever size motor you want.I would suggest keeping the compression at 10-1. The problem going bigger cube is the blower will run out early and not pull up top.Another problem is overspinning the blower creates a **** ton of heat. I beleive people hitting 600rwhp on a dyno with the blower cooled down but I bet if they did 3 back/back pulls the power drop will be drastic. From what we saw at 7lbs with the 3.4" pulley (I think) inlet temp went to a mild 129 degree's after 3 gears and temp dropped fast. When we switched to 12lbs the inlet went to 195 degree's in the 3 gears and took awhile to drop. That heat required timing to be pulled alot.

I'm the one with the 402 and a maggie 112 on the goat. The initial numbers are 561/599 but there is more in it. I am putting 60 lb injectors on because I was having flow issues above 5800 rpm's. I think we will definitely see 600+ very soon. The lil maggie is too small for my set up but it is making 10/11 psi. Maggie is overdriven w/ NW 90mm TB and I'm running a 3.0 pulley up front. 402 is from Scoggin Dickey w/ Compstar upgrades, AFR 225 heads, SLP LT's, Z06 MAF, Flowtech Cam 236/248 XXX, 10.8/1 SCR. All work is done by Williams Performance. I will be back out there in the next couple of weeks to re dyno and I'll post the results. I can say tht it is a complete torque monster as it sits now!!!

Which rear pullies do you have? Does Magnusson have to change the rear pullies, or can you do it yourself?

P.S. This is the best magnusson thread I've seen yet, keep the post's coming, I am trying to decide what engine to have built right now!
Thanks!

I have the rear pulley swap (overdriven ratio 1.17:1 - stock it's .83:1) and Magnuson did the work. I wouldn't recommend doing it yourself unless you have the right tools and have done it before. The 112 is really too small for anything larger than 364ci but I already had this blower on my LS1 when it popped and didn't have the funds to do the blower and a new motor. I will say that it definitely adds a sh$t load of torque to my 402. I'm spinning the blower at about 18,000 rpm's @ 6600 engine rpm's. Right now I have my rev limiter set at 5800 due to injector size. You can do more with the maggie when it's overdriven. The biggest advantage is running a bigger pulley up front for more belt wrap. It really depends on how far you want to push it. FunCool (vette guy) is spinning his to the point of no return but he is putting down some impressive power! He also has a 402. I know it's pushing alot of hot air but I'm just gonna spray a lil ole 75 shot to cool it down!
