best blower motor....????
i am looking for opinions on my newest project, wondering what would be the best motor for my upcoming blower motor swap.
LQ9 (6.0L iron), LS1(we all know what that is), LS2, or maybe somthing differant?
I plan on being boosted (not sure turbo or procharger), looking for around 700-800 whp.
I have learned the best course of action is the best planned, so thanks in advance.

All the engines you listed are cable of handeling 700-800 rwhp. The 408 LQ9 iron block is a popular choice if you dont mind the extra weight (I believe around 85+ pounds over an aluminum block). Another option is an L92 setup running around 418ci or an ls2 based 402 stroker that a lot of the sponsors on here sell. Both would easily handle 700-800 rwhp. You can even run the stock 346 ls1 with forged internals and hit those numbers as well. If you want the absolute best motor id look into an 427 LSX block but it really matters on what your budget is. All the motors listed though would be up to the task. As for the type of FI you will get plenty of opinions but a d1sc/F1 procharger or a single turbo kit such as the OFI kit would get the job done. Good luck on the build though and let us know what you choose!
