Hey No Juice-thanks for the pics bro! It looks like all you had to do was space the bracket apart some? Was there any other mod's needed? Were thinking of getting a custom 65mm wide crank pulley made-so there will only be a cog belt going from crank to blower. Or do you think the ATI cog crank pulley is good enough to spin the blower with the 30mm belt? The alternater is going to be spun on a seperate belt.

Well what you see in the pictures is what he had to do in order to get it at least running. Its an F2 with the ATI Sprag pulley running a 30mm cog. He also has the ATI Balancer w/30mm cog integrated into one. Using the cog kit from ATI gets you all the pulleys you need but there is no belt in that length so what he did originally was modify the alternater bracket to use a shorter belt. Well that didn't work, the blower destoyed the alternator/power steering pump/idler pulley bracket and water pump pulley. Things were flexing too much, chewing up belts and eventually broke a lot of stuff.
The current set up thats pictured has the power steering pump eliminated. Then he had a custom plate made to mount the alternater as shown. He flipped it around and ran the alternator on a seperate belt off the A/C crank pulley. No A/C on the car at the moment either. The blower is then run on its own shorter belt that just touches the water pump pulley enough to spin it with out putting too much stress on it.
The current set up has held up great so far running the 30mm. Much easier on the belt using the sprag pulley and preventing any flex.

I think you will be fine running the F1A on the 30mm. Its spinning the F2 just fine, it made 1200rwhp at 5000. At SEMA this year ATI told the owner of this car that they would or will be making a 50mm cog balancer which requires moving the rack only about 1/4". Then you could use the kit from BlackMountain Perf. The owner of this car plans to go that route so he can get his creature comforts back. Although I think if we could prevent the flexing and breaking of the other parts the 30mm will work as is. The F2 is such a mean bitch!

No Juice thanks for all the help bro! The F2 is actually going to go on a Fbody using the C5 brackets. Were going to use the 4 ribs to run the alternator and the cog only has to run the F2 since were using a electric water pump. Now I just gotta start fabbing up all the piping and add 2 Procharger "Big Reds" !
