Default Heads For STS Turbo Setup

Looking to order my STS setup here soon and was wondering if it would be better to run 5-8psi on the stock heads or heads with around stock compression that flow alittle better. Or get a set of heads like 6.0 lq4 heads that would drop my compression a considerate amount and then run more boost. What would have the better outcome?

I'm not sure if you will make the same power that you would with high compression and lower boost as you would with high boost and lower compression, will the outcome be about the same? What would be the smarter way to go? I don't want to run 20psi or make 1000hp or anything like that im shooting for around 550rwhp the car will be daily driven for the most part so i would like it to be fairly reliable, just a car that you can take out and cruise in and have a good time. I realize all the tranny issues and rear end problems and other issues that ill have with this amount of power so please don't tangent off onto them please thanks in advance!

IMO, do the #317 6.0 heads with some good springs and you will be set.

Ditto I'm doing a 370 Iron 6.L build for my IROC and going to use the stock 317 heads.

6.0L heads (either 035 or 317- same thing) and don't run more than 8psi or 500rwhp on the stock pistons.
