Vic. Jr or GMMP intake???
Vic. Jr or GMMP intake??? what are the high HP guys using? i did a search and couldnt find anything specific to FI.
IIRC the Vic. Jr has longer runners then the GMMP?
doesn't the benefit of shorter runners help higher in the RPM's??
for apples to apples comparison i'm talking about stock for stock intakes.

A lot of the guys are using both sucsessfuly,I dont think there is much difference power wise.The gmpp is abowt a half inch lower than the victor jr. which helps with clearence on stock hoods.I am using a gmpp on mine.
i wish i could find some side by side comparisons'.
i was told the GMMP has more "meat" to it, so you can have more room to port.
right now i'm just using stock 317 heads to get the car running again. Of course later down teh road i'll switch to an aftermarket cast and then have the intake port matched.

You may want to hold off and get the Super Vic which will be coming out in "4-6 weeks" according to the tech I talked with. It will be taller, but it may be able to fit under the hood if you use one of Edelbrocks elbows.
