I don't follow you comment................why would you not use the twin turbo Z28 as a daily driver?

How long ago was this? You do realize the K-member design has changed over the years I have had an earlier design and one of the newer designs on my current car and didn't have a problem with either one. My car is not just race car only it has plenty of daily street driving on it, this is FIRST hand information.

I guess that is quite a valid point as most products are improved over time as more R and D time is allocated to popular products. The latest BMR K member (part number KM -003) that we used for the twin turbo development looks to be quite strong and has not had any cracking or fatigue problem during our test program.

Hope that helps,

Peter

yes, that was my point. I dont use my Car as DD anymore, but my goal is to have a 600rhwp+ DD Camaro. So if i want to take it to work, vacations, make a trip from Vancouver to California, things like that...i want the car to be able to do it....

and thanks for the info..

only problem with your dd car. is that if you breakt that "all great" BMR k-member on the street there warrenty wont help with ****. now
UMI and Spohn both say there k-member will take any street your throw at it.

i just wish aps would buy the 500 dollar spohn and the 500 dollar UMI and tell us if they work.
i mean hell if i made a turbo kit. i would probly make sure that the three biggest f-body companies **** worked with it. not just one. sound likes BMR is getting somthing out of the deal.

The BMR K KM 003 member was our choice of K member for the F body twin turbo development (this decision was made after conferring with many performance shops in the US) and we have clearly stated this from day one, no secret about that.

If guys choose a different brand of K member which was not tested or checked for fitment by APS then they do so at their own risk.

Just for the recored, we have no business relation with BMR, we choose the BMR product after looking carefully at the quality of their KM 003 part number K member.

Default Bmr

After much debate and talking with a few K member companys and talking with current BMR K member guys, I decided on & ordered the BMR 003 K member, Which is nowwhere near close to being like the first K members that they produced some many moons ago. I was also told by a few guys that BMR was the first in the industry to even make a K member for us F body guys!!Which I didnt know! Anyways, from what Ive heard its really tight underneith with the APS solid steel tubing, which us INCON guys had ALL rubber lines and had a little more room. So after weighing my options, I ordered the recomended BMR 003 K member today and BMR actually went out of there way to explain the clearance issues which they addressed with this K member to make it perfect for the APS F body kit Thanks Guys BARNAT!
