Default Main girdle for FI

Hereis a few pics of the DM Performance main girdle. I was very surprised of the high quality of it.It fot like a glove on our 416ci shortblock with no clearancing needed.

Figured I'd post this with pics since you never really hear of it.

Thanks for pics Don. I know we used girdles all the time on the Ford 5.0L blocks, both steel and aluminum from D.S.S. I figured with the design of the LS blocks that may not be necessary but I guess I'm wrong. What material is the girdle?

So how much power is that motor going to push-1200 rwhp+?

We've used them for a long time. This is probly the first time I've actually taken a picture of one. The LS motors are strong but we've still seen the caps walk on FI setups.

What about using them on a Iron LSX block?

I used the girdle before as well... great product. Its been out for quite awhile and I'm surprised, especially the Aluminum block guys, don't pick up on it. How about doweling the mains along with this girdle for aluminum blocks?

Getting there man getting there. Motor goes for delivery in the last week of this month as well as the initial tune for the stock running system. Forged motor should be in around middle of April/May time frame.

The graph did look funny but if it's true I guess that's why they call him the "Maggie King". I just don't understand why he only run's hi 10's?

The girdle looks like a nice add on, but i believe highly unnecessary and unneeded.

For the money spent, you could run a set of doweled steel main caps that would serve more purpose than a stock main cap with the girdle
