Pulley help on a P1

Pulley help on a P1

Does any one here know what size pulley on a stock car will get me 5.5#'s - Or better yet does any one know waht size pulley to try to get 7-8#'s?

My car is completly stock w/ the procharger - I made 418rwhp on 5.5#

I dont know what size pulley i have in there now and i want to run 7-8#.

I made about 6~7psi with the 7.65/4.25 8 rib pulley combo on my old P1 setup on my stock engine. It made 489rwhp in that form...

just calculate the ratio... and hope you dont get belt slip. a bigger filter will help with boost and belt slip a little.

What do you mean by calculate the ratio? I dont know the formula to do that.

i do have the bigger filter already.

The ratio of the pulleys... If you don't know what a ratio is, look here. If that doesn't help, go back to 5th grade

I'm going to say you're going to need a 3.75 pulley to make 7 to 8 psi and you probably have around a 4.00 pulley on there now. Bob
