Default BMR Turbo K-Member pic request

Well I have been waiting and waiting and will at the end of this month buy a k-member either from UMI or BMR....

I have been trying to hold off on the K-member as that is the last part i need to start building my pipes and such. UMI said they would have something around this time of month....and well I cant wait much longer....

I was looking to see pix of the UMI unit installed with the AC compressor and Alt in their stock locations to see how much room there is between the component and k-member....enough to feed a 3" DP ?

and i know i've asked a few people, but might as well ask in this thread, how many of your DAILY drive these k-members....honeslty they dont look beefed enough to handle daily roads, but i want to see how many of you all have done it.

thanks in advance!

I have the BMR one and used to drive it quite a bit....certainly am not driving it because I am worried about the k-member. The BMR one allowed me to run my up pipe through the passenger side of the k-member and a 3" d-pipe through the driver side....

I wasn't driving it as far as that but maybe 30miles total. Of course the car has been to the beach multiple times, one of the trips was around 700miles total. MM is running the same k-member I believe and he does drive his car everyday, at least 25-30miles and also drove all the way to tenessee, raced then drove back.

Get one custom one made from pa racing, its one $50 more for customization over the standard unit and they'll modify it however you want, and then pay alil to have it reinforced, it will all still be cheaper than the bmr unit lol. Its what im doing, the worries/problem we have about the bmr is solved and you have a badass k member for le$$ RCE EATR wait till you see the setup man, hope to have it done very soon!! Thanks for all your advice and help, soon everyone will be running the turbo kit this way and they'll keep a/c
edit-dont know if they're a member/sponsor so mods, lemme know if i messed up...im in no way affiliated with them, just posting how my experience has been with them. :thumbs up:

im calling tomorrow should have mine built this week hopefully. Turnaround time should be one-two weeks no more than that. One week if you call and schedule something out with Jason, who is the builder there.

lol it was 6am when i posted that, i was meaning like do you have to pre pay for them to start making it or do you pay once it's all made just in case there were more things needing to be done to it....but usually on custom stuff you have to always pre pay huh lol

BTW which BMR do you use MM the turbo or reg one?
