I would be interested in 402 CI or larger, but not bigger than a 434. If I were to go that route, I would just get an F1A then.
We have a GTO from your neck of the woods right now that we are building and installing a forged motor into. Pm me your e-mail address and I'll send you a quote. Thanks. Bob

I just can't see overcoming an almost 1200lb (Z06) weight difference with similar power numbers. Regardless of the 60' they should chase you down.

4480 lbs? I never knew they were that heavy. Damn, that's bad. Nice looking cars, too.

Agreed theres no ******* way it is possible for him to even stand a chance to a vette with similar numbers..... That is a huge weight diffrence. I would love to see a video of that one....

By the time you spend all your money on heads/cam/FI and the price of your goat you can buy a used vette. I don't see you beating that vette unless you go with some 700+hp.

Get a liter bike and smoke him the first day. Cheaper than F.I. too.
But it is hard to beat a Procharger and its warranty.

I just read from a few online sources that the GTO weighs 3725 lbs. If that is true, that's not as bad as i thought.

What I do like about it is the gravity oil return. One thing less to go wrong. I also like that the kit is easy to install compared to most TT setups, and there is plenty of power on reserve for when I build a new forged motor.
If I were you Id really consider the APT TT kit and a forged bottom end to make and handle the amount of power that you will need to beat this vette.
dont forget the huge amounts of torque from the TT's will help your heavy GTO out alot at the low and mid range.

A PD blower and a Vette is a dangerous combo for sure. I am biased though.

He is a good guy and he doesn't even know I am building the Goat to beat his car. He has one nice ride, but he only mods he has is a Maggie blower, cam, and a short throw shifter in his car. Since the list of mods is short, I plan on making mine longer!
Is he a c6 or c6z? theres a big difference, lol.

do you not have a budget or something??? along with your blower and turbo and all that good stuff dont forget about the weak parts. your going to need a new bottom end, tranny wont last long, and rear end womt last very long either. let us know what your budget is and we can help you more
