That kit looks nice but that price is crazy. Has anyone thought of using the exhaust to pull out crank case vapors? Ive read alittle about it and I think im going to give it a try. Basically you install a slash cut pipe onto your down pipe and at the right angle this will create a vacum. You attach this to you valve covers. There is a thread someone on hear that has pictures. Some guy tried this on a honda and was reading 8inchs at wot.

If your on a budget, a nice way to do it would be have a -12 weld on installed on a valve cover and ran down to a catch can mounted on the frame rail. Moroso/allstar sells these breather catch cans that have a -12an port. Looks good and works great.
I have been out of town a few days and just checked this thread. Thanks for all the advice guys. that vac system looks nice, but it out of my price range.

-Jake, I found the Moroso cans with the -12 ports. I was considering this anyway and will try it based on your advice. Is one -12 line running from one valve cover enough or do I need a line coming from each valve cover? Of course, installation would be cleaner and easier with only one line, if it is sufficient. Sometimes less is more. Also is there a need to put a check valve in this line?

tap both valve covers with a -12 an fitting...run both -12 hoses to a -12 moroso vented catch can.

ls6 valley to check valve to intake manifold.

cap off the rest of the plugs on the valve covers and put the stock oil cap back on.

call it a day.

It does have alot of vacuum but it will mess with your idle because it sucks too hard. Its like having a massive vacuum leak.

Would you use a check valve or a PVC ? If a Check valve, do you have a link to one? And I assume you put it so that air can go from the valley cover to the IM?

Good info, I was still unsure in what to do for routing my catchcan/pcv but I like this. Sounds simple as hell and bet it works great at both idle/vaccum and in boost. Now to find a nice checkvalve

Yes I do agree and have to read through that thread again. Last time it was a bit hard to follow and not sure where to get those valves and such.
