Default S91 question

I'm ready to order a turbo, just have a couple more questions. Why do some pictures of a S91 have a black (intake side) cover and the inlet looks "stepped", and the other gray and the inlet is smooth? Just wondering, seems like the smooth one would be more efficient? Again, new to turbos, just wanted to know. Ordering mine Mon. or Tues. Can't wait!!

Chris

Here's a pic of the gray one... http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=120161219697

Forced Inductions(sponser--->) makes those. They are an enginering house for BW. The black cover it an optional race cover($150) that adds more HP. Why don't you call or pm Dr Turbo first.

Chris that is our units in the ebay add. Matt is one of our dealers....that is the standard cover which we still offer, but to get the real power out of the unit you need the race cover...plain and simple.

Yeah that cover cuts the HP down a good bit. Their isn't enough difuser space for the compressor wheels exducer.
