I've used these guys twice with good results, for 8-rib pulleys: aspracing.com

$350.00 is about right. I sold my used Mike Morgan 8" 6 rib several years ago for something like $200.00. Bob

FWIW, I have an 8" MMS 6-rib, and I still get pretty mad belt slip @ about 5k RPM and up. IMO just get the 8 rib. I don't see why the 8" APS pulley would be any different from the 8" MMS, probably still slip.

And no, it wont hurt your blower unless you pulley it up too much and exceed the max rpm of your P1.

I have the MMS crank pulley too. Its 7.875" Going to an 8" is really no difference.

I rarely see people slip at the crank pulley - they go bigger at the crank so their blower pulley can be bigger and avoid slip. Is that what you are thinking?

Why bother dumping more money into a 6 rib? Just invest into an 8 rib setup!

Go ahead and buy an 8-rib. You can always run a 6-rib belt on the rest of the system until you need to upgrade all the pulleys to 8 rib. Mine is running just fine like that until my alternator and power steering pulleys are made.

The f-bodies don't even have that issue since they have a dedicated pulley for the supercharger...

I did not see if OP car is a Corvette or F-Body, BUT....I AGREE with these guys...don't waste money on 6-rib, it's inevitable one day you will pony up for an 8-rib setup. At least on a 8" crank pulley you just have 2 extra ribls till you have the coin for the rest of the setup. Good Luck
