96 lt1 supercharger?

I have a 96 lt1 and its all stock i was trying to find out how much boost i can run without hurting my motor and what all is needed to supercharge or turbo charge it.

Read the sticky above about the real price of forced induction. And for a stock engine don't go anything over 6psi and make sure to get it tuned

so 5psi intercooled system with a tune should be fine to run?
