Default OK to drive 3 hours to shop untuned?

I'm about to install my d1-sc along with 38lb injectors and fp and I was just wondering, will I break/blow up anything if I drive 3 hours to orlando to get the s/c dynotuned? Any consequences?
Also, is it worth it to change injectors to 42lb if I just plan on doing headers later on down the line?

Thanks,
Andy

if you change injectors I'm pretty sure it won't run correctly, if it was just the supercharger I think you would be ok as long as you do not get into boost.

Leave in Stock Inj. until you get to your location. and keep your foot out of it. I have been told under 2500 Rpm.

correct, stay out of boost, and stock injectors, you will be fine,

If you can run it without the belt on, that is even better, but imnot sure how the procharger works.

42's, i would go with some 42's. Just to be safe. a good tuner can tune 42's to idle like stock.

Couldn't he basically leave a 'leak' somewhere before the maf? That would vent off any boost at all. The car will run fine that way, I know first hand.
