Default cog pulleys for a procharger

I have a good friend who has a 3rd gen with a sbc 383 and a f1 procharger on it. For the last few years he has had nothing but problems with belt slippage. This thing should be a beast if he can make the boost he wants. He had a d1 on the car and had some cogs made for that one, (now on his other car) But the guy wants over $1000.00 to make 2 pulleys for the F1. I am sure somebody has to have run into this problem before and got some cog pulleys made that did not cost that much. Thank you for any help.

Cog pulleys take a decent amount of thought and CNC programming to come out exactly right. I've used aspracing.com before with good results, but expect to wait at least 4 weeks.

The wait is not an issue, we have been screwing with the belt problems for over a year now. Thanks for the info i will check them out.
