How Much Boost Will A 3.40 pulley make??

Default How Much Boost Will A 3.40 pulley make??

i have a d1-sc on my 00 ws6 and have a 3.40 puley for it but dont want to exceed 9 lbs of boost, i have 1-3/4 inch hookers long tubed, no cats 3 inch y-pipe and catback.

On my car with a 3.45 it was hitting 11lbs but I was having issues with either belt slipping or tensioner ready to crap out. I think it was tensioner issues more than anything.

You have not put up what you're running therefore it's impossible to even guess.

If it's a stock motor and 8 rib pulley setup with a free flow inlet I see 14-16lbs of boost.Well,with a front mount intercooler.

i have a 6 rib setup with 4.5 inch dual intercoolers, slp maf sensor, ls6 intake manifold, procharger tensioner but not upgraded at all.
