Same thing with the heads flow isn't as important because the air is going to be forced in anyways. 317 truck heads are good, but 225 AFR's work great too. I personally have been looking at the warkhawk ls1 heads for my next build. Only $18xx assembled w/ springs also.

Yeah i was plan on going with the budget truck heads. I just know that my current heads give to much compression and I need to bring it down some.

Update

Bought the Gen TTr kit and should be arriving at my installers this next week. I am using fully built 317 heads and am still searching for a cam. I am thinking 224/228 upper .5xx low.6xx on 114. I want the car to run like stock until the boost comes on. I want to get rid of the surging and bucking of my current large cam. Should have can back towards the end of the month.

I have a similar cam in my car now still NA but don't liike it much. It still seems to give me some surging and stuff. I would go with bigger lsa personally but its of course your choice. I am going with a cam with zero lope that should have great driveability.Turbos make plenty of power anyway so don't need a crazy cam in my car. Not that the cam you are suggesting is that crazy. I would think with good tuning it could be pretty darn docile around town. The problem with mine is likely my limited tuning skills with hp tuners.
