Sleeper of the century???
Well... she went to the track yesterday.... and a slick track it was LOL
Keep in mind this car was built as a cruiser with occational trips to the track. The suspention under it is nothing fancy. Just leaf springs and cheap shocks
track temp 40 degrees and overcast...
right off the trailer it went 10.87 @127 on 8psi and pump gas
after a handful of other passes and shake down runs we turned it up to 12 psi and went 10.32 @134 After playin with the ram rates on the boost controller and getting the feel if things we put a few gallons of good gas in it and popped off a 10.16@141 on only a 1.66 60' and preceded to rip the tires off the rest of the way down the track LOL
all in all after 5 passes, picking up that much time and the owner starting to get the feel of the car.... there are def mid 9's in this cars future. And for it being a 6spd... Chad (the owner) is one hell of a driver! I cant wait to see a new clutch and a 2 step
Ill keep my eyes peeled for some vids flaoting around of it sunday at the track. 1320 vid should have a incar of the 10.16 pass

wow definitely wouldnt drive that thing, freakin bench seats with no kneck rest, talk about getting fucked up when you get in a wreck..NOT SMART!! but on a side note that thing is pretty badass
White Knuckle race cars/417 motorsports I cant say enough good things about blake and his operation in Springfield. Car runs like a top and only problem ?traction!!! I am telling you if you are looking for someone to build a turbo kit look no further!!!!!!! 5th pass with this car since new set up 10.1 at 141!!!!!!!!(alot of it is the driver banging those gears(or missing)LOL)

18in tires installed WOW!!!! I decided to put the street tires back on old black death so I can get some drive time with it. You should see the faces of people on the highway when you down shift to 4th and the car rips the tires of all the way thru 4th at 80!?!?!? Ordered new Qa1 adj shock to try and take care of some of the wild ride. New brake master cylinder and now I have brakes(hard to stop a car at 140 with no brakes) Waiting for the jury on the twin disc spec clutch set up and then we might as well turn the wick up.
