nice, but how did they get a LS2 powered G8?

I thought they were a lower compression l92 headed 6.0 motor?

err it is a 6.0 its actually an l76, the gxp will be an ls3

We had a G8 with 400 miles up on our Mustang Chassis Dyno 1750 the other day.
Stock everything : 286 .48 HP 316.35 TRQ ....Best of multiple runs from 190*-220*
We ran it from 180* down the 1/4 and here are the results.
13.65@ 102.73
13.84@ 102.50
13.85@ 101.77

So what is under the hood an ls2 like pro charger describes it or an l72 or detuned ls3?

Engine, 6.0L V8 SFI aluminum with Active Fuel Management; 361hp at 5300 rpm, 385lb–ft of torque at 4400 rpm
