Default Cold pipe size

Hi I have a 2004 gto ls1 motor in my old chevy .I am almost finished with the build of a twin turbo system.I am to the point of running the cold pipes and dont know what size to run.Any advise please?Thanks Dan

I used 3", but I have seen some use smaller.

use whatever you can fit. i personally have 3.5" from my turbo to the intercooler (3.5" is the discharge size on my turbo) and then i used 4" from the IC to the throttle body. i just chopped off my IC inlet/outlets and bored it out to the sizes i wanted. (since my core is 4" i was able to fit a 4" outlet on it!)

I am running a procharger F2 intercooler with 3.5" ends. So I have 3.5" aluminum on both sides of the IC.
