vortech v2 Hey let me start out saying im new to superchargers. I happen to have been given a vortech v2 and have a 1998 z28, is it possible to run this s/c on my car
What is the model, (G, S, T, YSI?)
it may be possible, but most likely you will want to sell it and buy a kit.
(i did piece together a vortech setup, it took me 2.5 years to find all of the parts, I will never do that again) (or ir was spending $3500 with vortech to complete the kit)

The V-2 is is fine and will bolt directly up to all V-1 & V-2 hardware designed for your car, as long as it is the proper rotation blower. The V-2 E-trim MAY be a CCW rotation blower. If that's true it may be unuseable for you. It also may have a 65K redline and require a different (higher) pulley ratio to work efficiently. I believe all F-bods use Clockwise rotation Vortechs, but you should check with Vortech. PM me for my opinion on the best (cheapest) source for the Vortech bracketry.
